1 1/2 pounds hamburger
1 onion – chopped, 1 cup celery -- chopped
3 cups water
1/2 cup rice (regular or instant)
1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 can cream of mushroom soup
chow mein noodles
Brown hamburger and onion. Drain. Add celery, water, rice and soups. Mix well. Put in 1 1/2 quart dish.Bake at 350 for 1 hour uncovered. Cover and continue baking for 15 more minutes. Add noodles on top in the last 15 minutes or serve by spooning it over the noodles.
