Molly Motherwell’s Meatloaf, from Gael

Molly Motherwell’s Meatloaf, from Gael

I used to only make the Betty Crocker meatloaf, which I like quite a bit. But Rob never liked it. Then a friend in Ann Arbor gave me this recipe, and Rob changed his tune, he likes this one. Tips from Molly: “My sister, Lisa, uses spicy sausage which also tastes really good. Also, if you're using fine breadcrumbs, either increase them a bit or decrease the milk a bit, especially if using less than 2%.”

1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound pork sausage
1 cup bread crumbs
1 cup 2% low-fat milk
1 medium onion, chopped fine
1 cup tomato soup
1 egg

Mix all ingredients well. Bake in Pammed loaf pan for 90 minutes.
